Auch wenn Karola nicht mehr neben uns steht, weiß ich, dass sie in euch weiterlebt.

Jetzt passt sie von oben auf alle auf, mit den Füßen im Meer, die Hände voller Natzelaugen und Klaus an ihrer Seite. Zusammen strahlen sie auf uns herab 🌊🪽

Ich wünsche euch von ganzem Herzen Kraft, diese schwere Zeit zu bewältigen. Gebt euch Zeit zum Abschied nehmen und Zeit zum traurig sein.
Gebt euch Zeit für all die Erinnerungen und Zeit für schöne Erzählungen.

Karola wird immer einen wichtigen Platz im Herzen vieler Menschen haben. Ich werde oft an sie denken. Sie bleibt unvergessen.

So wie Karola immer für alle da war, werde ich für euch da sein, wenn ihr mich braucht. Fühlt euch ganz fest von mir umarmt 🫂🤍 Hab euch?

We are all so sad to hear of Karola's passing. Sending love to all of Karola's family! We had the privilege of meeting Karola at Melissa and Johnny's wedding in July 2023 in Canada. She was so such a warm, kind-hearted person and you she expressed so much love for her family. She welcomed us as family immediately and we will miss her beautiful smile.

I had the privilege of meeting Karola for the first time in person last year. I have spoken with her many times over video calls, received countless beautiful messages and shared many pictures with her, however meeting her in person was absolutely amazing. The moment I met her, she threw her arms around me and gave me the biggest and most genuine hug. Karola welcomed me into her family without hesitation. At out wedding, she gave Johnny and myself a very beautiful and heartwarming speech that I will never forget. She practiced the speech for months so that my family would be able to hear it in English. She was the kind of person that would put everyone else before herself. Every Christmas Karola would find a house full of lights or a beautiful tree and send my pictures because she knew how much I loved the colorful warm glow of the Christmas lights.
Karola, I will miss you with all of my heart. You truly were a kind soul.
